Katrina Haynes
Katrina is a Senior Engineer in the Transmission Line Maintenance organization at Alabama Power Company Southeast Division office here in Eufaula. Katrina graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 2003 and joined Alabama Power Company in 2007. She recently transferred from Farley Nuclear Plant to her current position in the Eufaula office. She has also served as the Co-President of the Alabama Power Service Organization for the past two years, leading the group to attain the 2010 Community Spirit Award for the “Highest Percentage Increase in Volunteer Hours,” and 2010 Membership Growth Award for the “Highest Percentage Increase in Membership.”

| Alabama Power Service Organization, 100% Connected in Local Community |
| The presentation highlighted Alabama Power Company’s service organization and the commitment it has to remain connected to the local communities through donations, projects, and volunteerism. The Southeast/Plant Farley Chapter of APSO supports numerous charities across the Southeastern Division of Alabama Power Company, and these were highlighted as well. Attendees were instructed in the process of presenting a potential project for consideration by the APSO Board of Directors, and encouraged to submit ideas to help APSO continue to remain aware of needs in the community. Katrina also made a list of local members of the service organization available so that Eufaula businessmen and women would have contacts to Alabama Power. |
